RIP ‘Max’ Hubbard

Max HubbardAlton CC players and officials are sad to learn of the loss of one of their favourite four-legged friends.

Having reached the grand old age of 16, Max has left the JCG for the last time. He always loved cricket better than anything, and preferred it when he could watch a good win having hovered up any excess teas left on the pavilion floor.

He liked the bar (except when it was renovated and he had to stay outside) but he usually crept in to find crisps on the floor when he could.

He particularly liked his role as mascot for the junior teams when Ed was in them, always finding a good position on the front row of a photograph.
