A fast start from Tilly (26 from 16 balls) and some great batting partnerships through out the innings - Jules (41) & Charlotte (20) put on 49 In the middle overs - took the girls to a competitive score setting HW 150 to win.

A couple of early wickets put the Alton girls on top but HW battled away with their batters keeping the scoreboard moving. At the 10 over mark HW were 75-3 , exactly halfway towards their required total.

Emilia & Charlotte bowled some tight overs limiting the scoring, leaving HW requiring 45 from the last 5 overs.
The return of the opening bowlers & the noise from the HW girls from the sidelines gave the girls a bit more energy in the field (despite the cold & fading light). Wickets for Imogen and Juliet helped keep the runs under control and took us to an 11 run win. Great team effort.
